Ecological Tours

Hobcaw Barony, North Inlet- Winyah Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Baruch- North Island Reserve, Tom Yawkey Wild life Preserve, the Santee Coastal Reserve, and the Cape Romain Wildlife Refuge all surround Georgetown, SC. These areas combine for over 150,000 acres of undeveloped coastline. The days are rare when you don’t run across a Bald Eagle soring, an Osprey diving, alligators sunbathing, or porpoise chasing red fish onto a mud flat during a boat tour.

Santee Coastal Excursions can tailor our boat tours based on your specific interests. We offer island hopping, lighthouse tours, porpoise watching, and on board seminars in any combination to create an unforgettable eco-experience.

Specialized bird watching trips and photography tours are also available with proper notice.
